The Psycho-social Drama Competition was held in the North Auditorium on the evening of 12th May. After weeks of hard rehearsal, 2011 International Accounting Class 1 and International Accounting Class 2 successfully got through the selection of the first and second rounds, and were among the three teams in the final round of the Jiaoqiao Division. They gave a fantastic performance, and got great results.
The International School was represented by two teams in the competition. The work from 2011 International Accounting Class 1, entitled “I want to hold your hands”, was an intelligent, thought-provoking and touching exploration of life and a mother’s reluctance to let go. It won praises from the panel of judges. “The Secret” by International Accounting Class 2 enjoyed great rapport with the audience. It was a gripping plot full of conflicts, culminating in a moving scene of charity; it struck a chord with the audience who shed a few tears. The spirit of generosity fits in well with the latest, much talked about Leifeng Spirit.
In the end, as expected, our School won by a strong performance. International Accounting Class 1 scored 91.4 as the confirmed winning team, being the most popular; International Accounting Class 2 won the second prize as well as the Best Script Award.
Not only did we achieve success as a result of the classes’ hard work, it was also the League’s best demonstration of achievement for the 2010-11 academic year. We hope that the International Psychological Association will continue to steer students towards even better results.
