The first GRE IBT (Internet-based Test) of JUFE test center was held in Mailu Campus on September 3. In the morning, Jiang Jingfa, Vice President of JUFE, inspected the test center, accompanied by Yang Hui, Dean of International School, and Xiao Long, Vice Dean of International School.
Having listened to the report about technical support and the examination management, Prof. Jiang emphasized two points. One is to examine the candidate documents strictly to avoid cheating by means of examinees replacement so as to ensure zero-accident in the test center. The second is to maintain the machines and facilities regularly, making full preparations for emergencies such as a power failure, to guarantee exams going ahead smoothly. Later, professor Jiang talked with some invigilators and enquired for further details about the ongoing test.
The Graduate Record Examination, or GRE, is a standardized test that is an admission requirement for many graduate schools principally in the United States, and in other English-speaking countries. Created and administered by the Educational Testing Service, it applies to every discipline with the exception of Law and Business Studies. GRE scores are crucial while applying for graduate study in America and Canada (excluding management schools and law schools). And it is also an important criterion for professors to decide whether a student should be granted the scholarship. In August 2011, the GRE revised General Test replaced the GRE® General Test.
Verified by Education Ministry Examination Center, our school has become the test centre for International Examinations, such as TOEFL, TOEIC, and this time, GRE.
