English Corner on Halloween

The first English corner held by Study Department was held satisfactorily on Oct. 31st, a Halloween evening. A great many people including not only our schoolmates but our dear foreign teachers have joined the wonderful night.
English corner this evening consists of two parts. The first part is “Halloween”. In this part, everyone has great fun in painting the masks, tasting the drinks and receiving candies from the foreign teachers. The talk about the custom of Halloween has brought the atmosphere to the climax. After an interesting stage play, the second part themed on “before I die I want to…” started, in which students exchange their thoughts about life. The whole wonderful English night ends in writing all the participants’ hopes on the board with a fill-in-blank question—“before I die I want to…. ”
Thanks to the support of kind foreign teachers and the participation of schoolfellows, the event goes smoothly and sets up a good model for future English activities.
